Chill Out Kids programmes at Richmond Aquatic Centre offer a variety of childcare programmes to keep children entertained while they learn. We offer after-school care during the school term and holiday programmes every school holiday period (excluding public holidays).
After School Care
Our after-school care program offers exciting activities for children aged 5 to 13 every day from 3pm to 6pm during the school term.
Skip the after-school rush and let us handle the pick-up from Richmond Schools and bring the kids to our awesome Chill Out room at the Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon filled with fun! Your child can enjoy baking, arts and crafts, outdoor games, free supervised play, and, of course, splashing around in the wave pool! We also offer discounted swimming lessons during after-school care. Rest assured, our dedicated team will escort your child to and from their swim lessons.
Holiday Programme
Our Holiday Programme offers an unforgettable holiday extravaganza that is sure to leave your kids buzzing with excitement!
Every school holiday, our care starts from 8am and runs until 4pm with additional aftercare available until 6 pm if required! Our holiday program is full of non-stop fun and thrilling activities from all around the Nelson Tasman area for kids aged 5 to 13 years!
