ENROL NOW as we book up fast and we don't want you to miss out!
Our School Holiday Programme operates from the Redsox Clubrooms (916 Tremaine Ave: down the long driveway beside Norwoods Machinery). We are open from 6.30am - 6:00pm every day. An extra charge of $5.00 applies if your child/children will attend the programme before 8:00am. We ask that all children are onsite by 9:00am for roll call every day, unless specified in the activity details that require us to leave earlier. Please check the activities you have booked for every day to ensure you do not miss any important details and that your child/children come to the programme prepared each day.
OSCAR Subsidy
We are OSCAR and WINZ approved, meaning you may be eligible for a payment subsidy. You could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the facility (Red Sox Clubrooms) for us to fill in your forms. We strongly encourage those parents/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment. We are happy to email your forms directly to WINZ when they are completed and your deposit is paid. All WINZ bookings require a deposit to be paid per booking which is $40 per child for School Holiday Programme. If deposits are not paid prior to the commencement of the holiday booking, your booking cannot be approved. Bookings will remain on the ‘Pending’ status until payment/deposit has been made.
Important Enrolment Information
- All children are required to show “school behaviours” such as being able to change themselves, and using the toilet unassisted. Staff are unable to assist with helping children get changed or help with toileting due to child protection policies.
- Enrolments will not be approved if there are outstanding fees on previous bookings. If there is an unpaid fee/s for a previous booking, a new booking cannot be approved until fees are paid in full.
- Bookings must be completed in full on the Online Booking System: www.chilloutkids.co.nz.
Day to Day Important Information
Everyday your child/children must have plenty of food for the day, which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a refillable drink bottle. Please do not send your child/children with noodles or other food that requires cooking or heating as we may not always be onsite at eating times . It's also important that your child/children wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the day's activitiy. Please also send them with their swimming attire (togs, towel and goggles) as we will swim at Freyberg Community Pool or offsite (if it is in the day's activity plan). We require your child/children to be able to dress themselves before and after swimming.
Enrolments fill up fast so get in quick and early to confirm your child’s place on the programme.

Construction Day
Ages 5-14 onlyCome spend the day at the Chillout workshop, where we let our imaginations run wild, we will have art projects, wood creations, Science and more, we will also make our own pizza to enjoy at lunch. Swimming will be an option in the afternoon.
Pool Day
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a day at the pool we will have water safety lessons, inflatables, raft building, fun challenges, we will enjoy a bbq lunch then free swimming in the afternoon. Please make sure kids have a couple of towels today.
Mini Golf
Ages 5-7 onlyGrab your club and ball as we hit Mini Golf at Bowlarama and let’s see who can get a hole in one. We will then head to the park for a play before making our way back to Freyberg Pool for swimming.
Manawatu Golf Club
Ages 8-14 onlyWe are off to the Manawatu Golf Course where they will take you through some lessons! How far can you hit a golf ball? Great way to try new golf clubs and perfect your swing. We will then head to the park for lunch and Lido Aquatics Centre for a swim.
Nga Manu Nature Reserve
Ages 5-14 onlyWe’re off to Nga Manu Nature Reserve to see what is on offer, we will see native birds, reptiles, kiwis, enjoy a nature walk, feed the ducks and eels, build your own Bug house. Before hitting the road back to the mighty Manawatu, making a pit stop at the park for a play.
Clued Up - Amazing Adventure
Ages 5-14 onlyThis is unlike any typical scavenger hunt; you aren’t simply following clues. You will receive a bundle of tasks scattered across a leg. You will need to create your own optimal path and complete the leg before unlocking the next one. The fastest route isn’t obvious and every decision counts. Swimming will be an option in the afternoon to finish off our day.
Movies @ Redsox
Ages 5-14 onlyCome join us for Movies at Redsox where we enjoy a film or 2 on the big screen, the Chill Out concession stand will be set up so you get a few snacks to enjoy throughout the movie. We will also have games, movie quizzes and challenges. Swimming will be an option for the kids too.
Chipmunks
Ages 5-9 onlyCome and enjoy all that Chipmunk has to offer; how fast can you get to the top? Which slide is your favourite? Can you get hit the target with balls? Swimming will be an option too.
Escape Room
Ages 10-14 onlySlove the puzzles, find the clues and work together as a team to escape before your time runs out! A really fun day for kids to challenge themselves and put they're thinking caps on. Swimming will be an option too.
Disco Time
Ages 5-7 onlyGame dressed to party, we'll have lights, games, bubbles, music, and the snack station, can’t wait to see your best dance moves or party trick. Swimming will be an option too.
Nerf War Day Rave
Ages 8-14 onlyWe’re off to the Lido Aquatic Centre where we will enjoy a nerf war pool party, with games, music, and more! Who can hit the target? It will be a day not to be missed. Don't forget to pack your togs and towel too.
Rebound + Coastland Aquatic Centre
Ages 5-14 onlyWe’re heading to Rebound in Paraparaumu, where we will hit the tramps, do some flips, slide the slides, enjoy the ball pit and playground, before making our way to Coastlands Aquatic Centre for swim. Leaving at 8:45am returning 4pm.
Camp Chillout
Ages 5-14 onlyWelcome to Camp Chillout today’s agenda brings tent/Selter building, fun camp challenges, fear factor, old school camp games, we will even have a special guest, Burger & Fries for lunch finishing the day with a movie and Popcorn.
