Welcome to the Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre School Holiday Programme
Be part of the exciting October School Holiday Programme at Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre Chill Out for your school-aged child. With a thrilling range of activities that includes an exciting trip to Stardome, Massey Blast from the Past Chill Out Party, Bouce, Franklin Pool Party, inflatable Day and so much more. This School Holiday Programme has something for everyone.
At Franklin Chill Out our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids come together, explore new activities, forge new relationships and, make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
The programme operates from 9am to 3pm and can be extended with Before Care (8:00am to 9am) and After Care (3pm to 5pm). Please note if your child is absent refunds are only given with 72 hours’ notice during the School Holidays. If your child is sick on the day full charge will apply. We will also be running our After Care option until 5pm.
For the upcoming week, children must come prepared with a hat, a drink bottle, a large lunch and sunscreen. Additionally, they must bring their swimwear every day. Alternative activities will be offered for kids who do not swim.
We are MSD approved, and WINZ subsidies are also available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. Applications are in high demand, with WINZ forms needing to be completed and a $40 deposit collected per child before a booking is confirmed.

Spring Makers Day & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyCelebrate the season of new beginnings with a fun-filled Spring Makers Craft Day! Kids will unleash their creativity as they create colourful spring-themed masterpieces using a variety of art and craft materials. there'll be plenty of hands-on activities to spark imagination and take-home unique creations to share with family and brighten up the season
Franklin Pool Party
Ages 5-14 onlyDive into a day of splashing fun at our Pool Party! Kids will enjoy swimming, exciting water games, and plenty of laughs with friends in a safe and supervised environment. It's the perfect way to stay active and make unforgettable holiday memories. Don't forget your togs and towel!
Stardome
Ages 5-14 onlyBlast off on an exciting adventure to the Stardome! Kids will explore the wonders of space, discover stars, planets, and galaxies, and enjoy an incredible show that brings the night sky to life. It's a fun and inspiring day of learning, imagination, and out-of-this-world excitement!
Tenpin Bowling & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyStrike up some fun with an exciting trip to our local Ten Pin Bowling! Kids will enjoy friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and the chance to test their bowling skills. Whether they're aiming for a strike or just having fun with friends, it's a fantastic day of teamwork, excitement, and unforgettable memories!
Pyjama Day & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyCome dressed in your comfiest pyjamas and get ready for a cosy day of fun! Kids will enjoy exciting games, tasty treats, and plenty of laughter with friends. From fun challenges and group activities to delicious food and relaxing moments, it's the perfect way to spend a fun-filled holiday programme day!
Blast from the Past Party & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for an old school party like no other! Compete in epic old-school party games, show off your best moves in a dance-off, and enjoy delicious party food and sweet treats. From limbo and musical statues to pass the parcel, there's excitement around every corner.
Bounce & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready for an action-packed day at BOUNCE! Kids will jump, flip, climb, and bounce their way through an exciting indoor adventure filled with wall-to-wall trampolines. It's the perfect place to burn off energy, build confidence, and enjoy active play in a safe and supervised environment.
Massey Park Pool Wave Rave Pool Party
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready to make a splash at Massey Park Pool's Wave Rave! Dive into the excitement with giant waves, thrilling hydroslide rides, fun-filled pool games, and the chance to show off your best bombs in the bombing area. Whether you're riding the waves, racing your friends down the slide, or joining in the water games, it's an action-packed day full of laughter, adventure, and unforgettable fun!
Inflatable Day & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyOur main stadium courts will be transformed with an incredible inflatable galore! We will have bouncy castles, obstacle course, slide, & a maze for the kids to have fun and challenge your friends. Don't forget to pack your togs and a towel for a dip in the pool in the afternoon.
Cinema 3 & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyLights, camera, action! Join us for an exciting trip to our local cinema, where kids can sit back, relax, and enjoy a fantastic movie on the big screen. With popcorn, plenty of laughs, and a fun outing with friends, it's the perfect way to enjoy a memorable day during the holidays. Whether it's an exciting adventure or a heartwarming family film, everyone is sure to have a great time!
