July School Holiday Programme 2026

ENROL NOW as we book up fast and we don't want you to miss out!
Our School Holiday Programme operates from the Redsox Clubrooms (916 Tremaine Ave: down the long driveway beside Norwoods Machinery). We are open from 6.30am - 6:00pm every day. An extra charge of $5.00 applies if your child/children will attend the programme before 8:00am. We ask that all children are onsite by 9:00am for roll call every day, unless specified in the activity details that require us to leave earlier. Please check the activities you have booked for every day to ensure you do not miss any important details and that your child/children come to the programme prepared each day.
OSCAR Subsidy
We are OSCAR and WINZ approved, meaning you may be eligible for a payment subsidy. You could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the facility (Red Sox Clubrooms) for us to fill in your forms. We strongly encourage those parents/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment. We are happy to email your forms directly to WINZ when they are completed and your deposit is paid. All WINZ bookings require a deposit to be paid per booking which is $40 per child for School Holiday Programme. If deposits are not paid prior to the commencement of the holiday booking, your booking cannot be approved. Bookings will remain on the ‘Pending’ status until payment/deposit has been made.
Important Enrolment Information
- All children are required to show “school behaviours” such as being able to change themselves, and using the toilet unassisted. Staff are unable to assist with helping children get changed or help with toileting due to child protection policies.
- Enrolments will not be approved if there are outstanding fees on previous bookings. If there is an unpaid fee/s for a previous booking, a new booking cannot be approved until fees are paid in full.
- Bookings must be completed in full on the Online Booking System: www.chilloutkids.co.nz.
Day to Day Important Information
Everyday your child/children must have plenty of food for the day, which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a refillable drink bottle. Please do not send your child/children with noodles or other food that requires cooking or heating as we may not always be onsite at eating times . It's also important that your child/children wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the day's activitiy. Please also send them with their swimming attire (togs, towel and goggles) as we will swim at Freyberg Community Pool or offsite (if it is in the day's activity plan). We require your child/children to be able to dress themselves before and after swimming.
Enrolments fill up fast so get in quick and early to confirm your child’s place on the programme.

Strike! Ten Pin Bowling
Ages 5-14 onlyWe know that today is going to be full of fun and lots of laughs as we head into town. Can you get a strike or a gutter ball (no problem we can use the bumpers) as we try our best at Bowling, I heard the staff say they can get the highest score!!
Movies on the Big Screen
Ages 5-14 onlyGrab your popcorn and drink, take a seat and relax as we head to Event Cinemas to watch “Toy Story 5”. Once the Movie is finished, we’ll head back to Chill Out for Games, Baking and Swimming!
Lollipops + Swimming
Ages 5-7 onlyAs the older Kids answer the call to attend the Lido Pool party, us younger ones have made a call to the lido younger kids to join us for fun morning at Lollipops Playland where we will spend the morning climbing, sliding, jumping, playing pretend, riding the merry-go round, before heading to Freyberg Community Pool for a swim.
Matariki Pool Party
Ages 8-14 onlyCan you hear that… the Lido is calling our name so we will answer the call and head on down! We will be joining them for a Pool Party, there will be music, games, prizes and of course plenty of swimming. Leaving at 9.30am and returning at 3pm.
Matariki Survivor
Ages 5-14 onlyToday you will need to bring your inner and outer strength as we compete in heaps of fun challenges to see what team comes out on top! What star team will you be? Don’t forget your togs as some of these challenges might be in the pool.
Cloud 9
Ages 5-14 onlyCan you jump and be taller than a giraffe? Can you do a better flip better than a dolphin? Can you get out of the foam pit faster than a turtle? Come along and find out as we head to Cloud 9 for some fun!
Timezone
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready for a day full of fun, as we gather our lanyards and cards and get ourselves ready for 1.5hrs of Arcade Games! You'll be able to spend points in their shop, what will you choose? After a fun filled morning, we will head back to the Chill Out for Swimming, Crafts and more!
Mid Winter Party
Ages 5-14 onlyCome Dress to Party we have games, challenges, prizes, facepainting, tattoos (temporary ones) food and more, The Chill Out Team are going to prepare you a nice warm feast for lunch for you to enjoy as well.
Lazer Llama
Ages 5-14 onlyLights, Lazers and Mazes! Come challenge your friends at Lazer Tag or inner Ninja Warriors as you tackle the Lazer Maze; or dodge the tiles in the 'Floor Is Lava' After building up a sweat, we will head to Freyberg Community Pool for cooling swim. Leaving at 9:30am returning 3pm
Palmy Mystery Adventure
Ages 5-14 onlyThe last day of the Holidays has come, today we are hopping a board the Chill Out Express as we head to mystery locations! There will be playgrounds, task/challenges and clues to solves to earn treats along the way. Apon returning to RedSox we will enjoy some lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing with a movie, games, swimming and crafts.
