CHILL OUT JULY HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Join us for our first ever Chill Out School Holiday Programme at the Wairoa Community Centre!
Movies, Athletics Day, Park Skate Bowl and Cultural Day just some of the exciting activities on offer!
Chill Out offers a safe, stimulating and fun environment for your school aged child/children.
The School Holiday Programme operates from 7:30am-5:30pm
Children require everyday:
- Lunch
- Drink Bottle
- Closed Toed Shoes
Enrolments fill up fast so you need to get in quick and early to confirm your childs place on the programme. WINZ forms to be completed before the programme starts with a $40 deposit per child before the booking can be approved.

Multi Sport Day
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for our first ever School Holiday Programme day! We will be enjoying a variety of Multi Sports - basketball, netball, soccer, touch just to name a few. Great way for kids to get active and meet each other. In the afternoon we will be having an afternoon swim, bring your togs!
Park Skate Bowl
Ages 5-14 onlyBring your wheels! Bikes, scooters, blades or skates - we will be visiting the Alexandra Park Skate Bowl for a fun active day of moving around and getting active! What better way to cool down afterwards than with a swim in our warm Aquatic Centre, don't forget your togs!
Cultural Day
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us today to learn more about Te Ao Maori! We will start our day with singing a Waiata, followed by learning on the Matariki Stars and also Poi making! We will have a special guest visitor who will guide us through our day. Bring your togs too as we will be swimming in the afternoon.
Cinema Trip Day - Gaiety Theatre
Ages 5-14 onlyThis will be our most popular activity - we are heading to Gaiety Theatre to watch a movie on the big screen! Not only that but we will be providing the children with their own drink and snack! Seats will be limited so get your booking in ASAP to secure your spot.
Athletics Day
Ages 5-14 onlyAthletics Day is all about fun, teamwork, and getting active! Rangatahi will take part in a range of exciting activities and challenges including races, relays, obstacle courses, and team games. This day is designed to build confidence, encourage participation, and create a positive environment where everyone can give things a go and have fun together.
Amazing Race Day
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready to race, solve clues, complete challenges and work together to conquer the course! A day full of adventure, teamwork and friendly competition awaits!
Library Day
Ages 5-14 onlyLibrary Day is on the holiday programme! Join us for a fun-filled day of stories, discovery, activities and all the fun things the library has to offer. A great day for curious minds, creativity and adventure!
Drive In Movie Day
Ages 5-14 onlyDrive-In Movie Day! Design and create your own mini movie car before parking up to enjoy a movie in your handmade ride. To top it off, everyone will receive their own Chill Out Dollars to spend at the Chill Out Snack Bar!
Pool Party Day
Ages 5-14 onlyPool Party Day is here! Inflatables, music and games… it’s a pool party! Get ready for a day of aquatic games, laughter and poolside energy as we turn up the vibes for an unforgettable day in the water! You don't want to miss this day!
