Richmond Chill Out – October School Holiday Programme
Adventure Awaits These School Holidays!
Looking for a fun, active, and exciting way to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? Richmond Chill Out is back with an action-packed programme designed for children aged 5–13 years.
From epic outings to creative challenges and plenty of opportunities to make new friends, every day brings a new adventure!
What's On?
This September / October, we're bringing back some of the kids' favourite activities, including:

Teapot Valley
Actionzone
Swimming Every Day
No two days are the same, giving children the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and create unforgettable holiday memories.
Daily Swimming Fun
Swimming is one of the highlights of our programme, so please remember to pack:
Togs and a towel, we'll be making a splash every day!

Drop-off: 8:00am – 9:00am
Please arrive by 9:00am for roll call.
Pick-up: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
After Care
Due to low enrolment numbers, Extended Care is not currently available.
If you require aftercare on specific dates, please email Kayla at richmondchillout@clmnz.co.nz with the dates needed. If there is sufficient interest, we will do our best to arrange care on those days.

What to Bring Each Day
Please ensure your child brings:
Togs and towel
Spare clothes (mandatory for children under 7 years)
Comfortable clothing
Socks and closed-toe shoes
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
A full drink bottle
Raincoat (just in case)
Sunhat and sunscreen
Health & Safety
The wellbeing of our children and staff is important to us.
Please keep your child at home if they are experiencing cold or flu symptoms. If a child becomes unwell during the programme, a parent or caregiver will be contacted and asked to collect them.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before 8:00am on the booked programme day.
- Eligible cancellations will receive account credit.
- Same-day cancellations are charged in full.
- Vacant spaces will be offered to families on the waitlist.

WINZ Subsidies Available
Richmond Chill Out is MSD-approved, and eligible families may qualify for WINZ subsidies covering up to 80% of programme fees.

Ages 5-13 onlyBounce, flip, and soar your way through an action-packed morning at Jump In before cooling off with an afternoon of splashing, swimming, and pool games at Richmond Aquatic Centre. It's the perfect mix of high-energy fun and water-filled adventure!
Laser & Splash!
Ages 8-13 onlyDuck, dodge, and tag your way through an epic laser tag battle before diving into an afternoon of swimming, splashing, and making waves at Richmond Aquatic Centre!
Wild & Wet Adventure!
Ages 5-8 onlyExplore the wonders of Natureland, meet fascinating animals, and then cool off with an afternoon of swimming and pool games at Richmond Aquatic Centre. A day packed with adventure from land to water!
Game On! Timezone Takeover
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready to level up with an epic day at Timezone! Challenge your friends, rack up points, win prizes, and put your gaming skills to the test across a huge range of arcade games. Whether you're aiming for the high score or just playing for fun, it's going to be a day packed with excitement, laughter, and non-stop action!
Strike & Splash
Ages 5-13 onlyAim for a strike in an action-packed morning of bowling before making a splash at Richmond Aquatic Centre! With friendly competition, pool games, and plenty of laughs, it's a day packed with fun from start to finish.
Bounce Into Action
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready to jump, climb, crawl, and explore at the Indoor Action Centre Play Zone! Spend the day tackling exciting obstacles, testing your agility, and having a blast with friends in a safe and action-packed environment. From giant slides to climbing challenges and endless opportunities for fun, this is the ultimate day of indoor adventure!
Adventure Awaits at Teapot Valley
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for an action-packed day at Teapot Valley! Take on exciting challenges as you scale the Rock-Climbing wall, navigate the Maze, soar along the Zipline, sharpen your skills in Archery, and tackle the Confidence Course. A day full of adventure, teamwork, and fun awaits!
Bounce Bonanza!
Ages 5-7 onlyGet ready to jump, bounce, climb and play! We'll be heading to the outdoor Trampoline Park for a morning packed with energy, laughter and awesome adventures. It's the perfect place to burn off some energy, make new friends and have a whole lot of fun before heading back for an afternoon of splashing about.
Race to Victory!
Ages 7-13 onlyStart your engines for a morning of high-speed fun! Kids will hit the Go-Kart track for three exciting races, battling it out to earn the title of Go-Kart Champion! After all the action, we'll cool off with a refreshing swim at Richmond Aquatic Centre—it's the perfect mix of thrills and splashes for an unforgettable day!
Let's Roll and Splash!
Ages 5-13 onlyLace up your skates for a fun-filled roller skating session, then cool off with an afternoon of swimming, water games, and splashing around at Richmond Aquatic Centre. It's double the fun in one epic day!
Slide, Splash & Soak!
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a day of non-stop water fun! We'll spend the morning racing down the Hydroslide, making a splash with every turn before enjoying a relaxing swim in the pools. It's the ultimate day of sliding, splashing, laughing, and making unforgettable memories!
