April School Holiday Programme 2026

ENROL NOW as we book up fast and we don't want you to miss out!
Our School Holiday Programme operates from the Redsox Clubrooms (916 Tremaine Ave: down the long driveway beside Norwoods Machinery). We are open from 6.30am - 6:00pm every day. An extra charge of $5.00 applies if your child/children will attend the programme before 8:00am. We ask that all children are onsite by 9:00am for roll call every day, unless specified in the activity details that require us to leave earlier. Please check the activities you have booked for every day to ensure you do not miss any important details and that your child/children come to the programme prepared each day.
OSCAR Subsidy
We are OSCAR and WINZ approved, meaning you may be eligible for a payment subsidy. You could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the facility (Red Sox Clubrooms) for us to fill in your forms. We strongly encourage those parents/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment. We are happy to email your forms directly to WINZ when they are completed and your deposit is paid. All WINZ bookings require a deposit to be paid per booking which is $40 per child for School Holiday Programme. If deposits are not paid prior to the commencement of the holiday booking, your booking cannot be approved. Bookings will remain on the ‘Pending’ status until payment/deposit has been made.
Important Enrolment Information
- All children are required to show “school behaviours” such as being able to change themselves, and using the toilet unassisted. Staff are unable to assist with helping children get changed or help with toileting due to child protection policies.
- Enrolments will not be approved if there are outstanding fees on previous bookings. If there is an unpaid fee/s for a previous booking, a new booking cannot be approved until fees are paid in full.
- Bookings must be completed in full on the Online Booking System: www.chilloutkids.co.nz.
Day to Day Important Information
Everyday your child/children must have plenty of food for the day, which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a refillable drink bottle. Please do not send your child/children with noodles or other food that requires cooking or heating as we may not always be onsite at eating times . It's also important that your child/children wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the day's activitiy. Please also send them with their swimming attire (togs, towel and goggles) as we will swim at Freyberg Community Pool or offsite (if it is in the day's activity plan). We require your child/children to be able to dress themselves before and after swimming.
Enrolments fill up fast so get in quick and early to confirm your child’s place on the programme.

Easter Camp Out
Ages 5-13 onlyJoin us for a day full of fun as we set up tents & shelters and compete in camp games and challenges. Also included are crafts and a Easter Egg Hunt too. Bring your togs, a change of clothes and your water gun as we will finish the day with a water fight!
Pool Party
Ages 8-13 onlyCan you hear that… the Lido is calling our name so we will answer the call and head on down and join them for a pool party, especially designed for kids! There will be music, games, prizes and of course swimming. Don't miss out on all the action! Leaving at 9.30am returning 3pm
Esplanade Adventure
Ages 5-7 onlyWe will be heading to the Esplanade to explore all it has to offer! Bring your you scooter as well go for a walk along the river as well. Maybe will even find some huts or animals along the way? Great day for those who enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air. Leaving 9:30am returning 3pm
Movies - The Super Mario Galaxy'
Ages 5-13 onlyGrab your popcorn and drink take a seat and relax as we head to the Cinemas to watch “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie”. Once the Movie is finished, we’ll head back to Chill Out for games and baking!
Cloud 9 + Makino Aquatic Centre
Ages 5-13 onlyCan you jump and be taller than a Giraffe? Can you do a better flip better than a dolphin? Can you get out of the foam pit faster than a turtle. Come along and find out as we head to Cloud 9 for some fun. We will then be heading to Kowhai Park in Feilding for lunch before we enjoy a refreshing swim at Makino Pool. Leaving at 9:30am and returning at 3:00pm.
Challenge Yourself
Ages 5-13 onlyToday we want you to bring your energy and your thinking caps as today is all about challenging yourself and friends! These challenges could be anything from food, baking, science, team escape challenges to trying to beat the supervisors at a task, we have something for everyone! Bring a change of clothes or togs we will also have water challenges and possibly a water slide.
Bowling + Mini Golf
Ages 5-13 onlyWe know that today is going to be full of fun and lots of laughs as we head into town for bowling! Can you get a strike or a gutter ball (no problem, we can use the bumpers if needing help) we will also see who can get a hole in one, as we check out the Dinosaur Mini Golf! Finishing off the day with a play and fun at a local playground. Leaving at 9:30am, returning 3pm.
Lazertag + Splashhurst Pool
Ages 5-13 onlyLights, Lazers, Mazes - come challenge your friends at Lazer Tag or inner Ninja Warriors as you tackle the Lazer Maze; after building up a sweat, we will head to our friends at Splashhurst Pool for a cooling swim. Leaving at 9:30am returning 3pm
Coastal Adventure
Ages 5-13 onlyHop aboard the Chill Out Express (aka the Chill Out vans) as we head down to the Kapiti Coast where we will check out a local trampoline Park and indoor playground. Making our way back to Foxton where we will enjoy a treat and a play at the Foxton Beach Playground. Leaving at 8.30am, returning 4:00pm.
Chill Out Celebration
Ages 5-13 onlyAs the school holidays are coming to a end and the kids are heading back to school for another term. We are going to celebrate in style, we will have party games, and food and let’s finish our day with a colour run. So, bring white to change into and see how colourful you will turn out!
