Richmond Chill Out – July School Holiday Programme
Adventure starts here!
Get ready for an action-packed school holiday your kids won’t stop talking about. Richmond Chill Out is back this July with an exciting programme full of movement, creativity, laughter, and new friendships for children aged 5–13 years.

Programme Details
Location:
Waimea Intermediate School
43 Salisbury Road, Richmond 7020
Drop-off: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
(Please arrive by 9:00 am for roll call.)
Pick-up: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
After Care
Due to low enrolment numbers, Extended Care is currently unavailable.
However, if you require aftercare on specific dates, please email Kayla at richmondchillout@clmnz.co.nz with the dates needed. If there is enough interest, we will do our best to arrange care on those days.

What to Bring Each Day
Please pack:

Togs & towel

Spare clothes (mandatory for under 7s)

Comfortable clothing, socks & closed-toe shoes

Morning tea, lunch & a full drink bottle

Health & Safety
To keep everyone safe:

Please keep your child home if they have cold or flu symptoms.

Any child who becomes unwell during the day will need to be collected.
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to 8:00 am on the booking day.

On-time cancellations will receive account credit.
-
Same-day cancellations are charged in full.
-
Vacant spaces will be offered to families on the waitlist.

We’re MSD approved, and eligible families may receive up to 80% off programme fees through WINZ subsidies.

Mega Slide & Pool Time
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a big day of action! Start the morning racing down the mega slide and feeling the rush, then make a splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre for some afternoon swim fun. Adventure, excitement, and water play all in one day!
Dribble, Dunk & Dive
Ages 5-13 onlyKick off your morning meeting the stars of the Giants! Say hello, get some tips, and try out drills with the team before warming up with a swim at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. A morning of inspiration, action, and winter holiday fun!
Game Zone & Splash
Ages 5-13 onlyMake a splash these July school holidays! Spend the morning diving into fun at the Richmond Aquatic Centre, enjoying a refreshing swim and plenty of laughs in the water. Then it’s time to level up at Timezone, racking up points, testing your skills, and taking on arcade challenges all afternoon. The perfect combo of poolside fun and arcade action!
Climb, Slide & Splash
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a big day of movement and fun! We’ll spend the morning tackling obstacles, sliding, and playing in the Indoor Action Centre Play Zone, then cool off with a swim at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. A holiday favourite packed with action and laughs.
Rev, Race & Relax
Ages 7-13 onlyStart your engines for a high-speed holiday adventure! We’ll hit the go-kart track for some fast-paced racing and friendly competition, where each driver will take part in a full Grand Prix experience featuring 3 x 10-minute races — a Practice Race, Qualifying Race, and the Grand Final. Drivers will celebrate their achievements with a podium presentation and trophies followed by a relaxing swim!
Natureland Explorer Day
Ages 5-7 onlySpend the morning at Natureland, getting up close with amazing animals, exploring the park, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. A perfect mix of fresh air, furry friends, and hands-on fun to kick off an awesome day! Of course, we will end the day with Swimming at the Richmond Aquatic Centre
Flicks & Float with Minions and Monsters
Ages 5-13 onlyLights, camera… swim! We’ll kick off the day with a fun movie session, then head to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon of swimming and water play. A great balance of relaxing and active fun these July holidays!
Sky High & Swim Time
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready to defy gravity at Jump In Trampoline Parks with wall-to-wall trampolines and action-packed fun. Then we’ll make a splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre for a refreshing afternoon swim. A day full of energy, laughs, and good vibes.
Skate, Spin & Swim
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready to roll! Spend the morning mastering your moves on the roller rink, playing games, and skating to your favourite tunes. Then cool off with a swim at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. A day packed with energy, laughs, and poolside fun!
Winter Pins & Splash
Ages 5-13 onlyKick off the July school holidays with the ultimate combo day! We’ll start the morning hitting the bowling lanes, knocking down pins and sharing plenty of laughs. Then it’s time to make a splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon swim and water fun. A perfect mix of friendly competition and poolside play!
