Welcome to the Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre School Holiday Programme
Be part of the exciting April School Holiday Programme at Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre Chill Out for your school-aged child. With a thrilling range of activities that includes an Inflatable World, Massey Park Pool Day Rave Pool Party, Iron Yard, Tenpin Bowling, trip to Auckland Zoo and so much more. This School Holiday Programme has something for everyone.
At Franklin Chill Out our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids come together, explore new activities, forge new relationships and, make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
The programme operates from 9am to 3pm and can be extended with Before Care (7:00am to 9am) and After Care (3pm to 5pm). Please note if your child is absent refunds are only given with 72 hours’ notice during the School Holidays. If your child is sick on the day full charge will apply. We will also be running our After Care option until 5pm.
For the upcoming week, children must come prepared with a hat, a drink bottle, a large lunch and sunscreen. Additionally, they must bring their swimwear every day. Alternative activities will be offered for kids who do not swim.
We are MSD approved, and WINZ subsidies are also available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. Applications are in high demand, with WINZ forms needing to be completed and a $40 deposit collected per child before a booking is confirmed.

Inflatable World & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyCome bouncing with us at Inflatable World in Manukau City. Bring socks and jump and bounce on all the inflatables big and small! Don't forget your togs and towel for swimming in the afternoon.
Mt Albert Pool Day
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a trip to CLM Mt Albert Aquatic Centre where we will be enjoying all this amazing facility has to offer. Hydro slide, waves and a water play area will be some of the features our kids can get involved in. Don't forget to pack your togs and towel!
Tenpin Bowling & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's knock down some pins! Who can score a strike? We are off to our local Ten-Pin Bowling alley. Don't forget your togs & towel for an afternoon swim!
Movie & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlySit back, relax and enjoy the latest film on the big screen. We will be watching the latest flick on the big screen. Enjoy popcorn, a drink and an ice-cream. Don't forget your togs and towel because we're swimming in the afternoon!
Iron Yard Golf & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a day of golfing! We'll be playing mini golf and enjoying the driving range. How far can you hit that golf ball? Don't forget your togs and towel for an afternoon swim!
Chill Out Carnival & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyRoll up! Roll up! Come one! Come all! Our Chill-Out Carnival is sure to excite! Carnival style Games, epic prizes and of course don't forget to bring your togs and a towel as we are hitting the pool in the afternoon.
Massey Park Pool Day Rave
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a party in the pool! There will be music, games, hydro slide, prizes, aqua run and of course WAVES! Bring your togs and towel and get ready for a fun day in Papakura.
Get Active with Squash & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyAuckland Squash are coming to Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre to play Squash! Join us for some on court action learning and playing. Caters for all ages and skill levels. In the afternoon we will enjoying a relaxing swim, don't forget your togs!
Auckland Zoo & Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are off to the Zoo! As we make our way around Auckland Zoo exploring all it has to offer, can you find a lion roaring? A giraffe with his head in the clouds? An orangutan swinging and a kangaroo jumping? Don't forget your togs and a towel for an afternoon swim!
