Welcome to the Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre School Holiday Programme
Be part of the exciting December/January School Holiday Programme at Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre Chill Out for your school-aged child. With a thrilling range of activities that includes an Ninja Valley, Massey Park Pool Day Rave Pool Party, Lego building extravaganza, Mini golf, trip to the Cinemas and so much more. This School Holiday Programme has something for everyone.
At Franklin Chill Out our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids come together, explore new activities, forge new relationships and, make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
The programme operates from 9am to 3pm and can be extended with Before Care (7:00am to 9am) and After Care (3pm to 6pm). Please note if your child is absent refunds are only given with 72 hours’ notice during the School Holidays. If your child is sick on the day full charge will apply.
For the upcoming week, children must come prepared with a hat, a drink bottle, a large lunch and sunscreen. Additionally, they must bring their swimwear every day. Alternative activities will be offered for kids who do not swim.
We are MSD approved, and WINZ subsidies are also available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. Applications are in high demand, with WINZ forms needing to be completed and a $40 deposit collected per child before a booking is confirmed.

Jubilee Pool Day
Ages 5-14 onlySlip, slop, wrap and SPLASH into our outdoor pool right here in Pukekohe! We will be visiting Jubilee Pool for a swim while it's open over the summer. Bring your togs and towel!
Wheels & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyIt's Wheels Day! Bring in anything with wheels. your scooters, skates, rollerblades, skateboards and even your bike. Done forget your helmets! Bring your togs & towel so we can swim in the afternoon.
Ten-Pin Bowling & Splash Day
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's knock down some pins! Who can score a strike? We are off to our local Ten-Pin Bowling alley. Don't forget your togs & towel for an afternoon swim!
Movie & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlySit back, relax and enjoy the latest film on the big screen. We will be watching the latest flick on the big screen. Don't forget your togs and towel because we're swimming in the afternoon!
Christmas Craft Day
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's get crafty! Christmas edition! We will be completing a number of Christmas Art projects that the kids can take on and put on display. A great day to get creative.
Christmas Baking & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyThe smell of Christmas will fill our kitchen as we bake some yummy Christmas treats. Those hungry stomachs will be enjoy eating everything you have baked! Don't forget your togs & towel because we are swimming in the afternoon.
Massey Park Pool Day Rave
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a party in the pool! There will be music, games, hydro slide, prizes, aqua run and of course WAVES! Bring your togs and towel and get ready for a fun day in Papakura.
Christmas Eve Party & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlySpend Christmas Eve with us as we celebrate everything Christmas. Wear your favourite Christmas clothes and enjoy Christmas treats and games and even a Christmas movie! Please note: Our Facility will be closing at 5pm so all children must be picked up by 5pm today.
Nature Scavenger Hunt & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's head outside and scavenge for some nature inspired treasures. A great opportunity to explore and be outside enjoy the NZ scenery. Don't forget your togs & towel as we are swimming in the afternoon.
Roller Skating & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyGet your skates on! We are rolling off to an indoor skating rink! Who can stay on their feet the whole time? Can you do a 360 spin? Don't forget your togs & towel as we will be swimming in the afternoon.
Day Rave at CLM Massey Park Pool
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for an epic pool party! Their will be an MC who will be running games, waves, music, aqua run, hydro slide and lots more. The outdoor pools will be open too! Pack your togs and towel for this awesome day.
Splash Battle
Ages 5-14 onlyBring your togs, towel and water toys from home and let's battle it out! Water pistols, sponges, water balloons, it's going to be a great day getting soaked while having plenty of fun.
Mini Golf & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's putter around the Airport Mini Golf course! Can you get a hole in one? Who will get the lowest putting score? Don't forget to bring your togs & towel for an afternoon swim.
CLM Pt Erin Pools Day
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for an adventure to the heart of beautiful Herne Bay. We'll be splashing into the cool water and enjoying all the activities this facility has to offer. Kids can go on the aquarun too (height requirement) One of the best outdoor pools in all of New Zealand!
Drive Through Movie Day
Ages 5-14 onlyMake your own vehicle and drive on into the movies, park up and enjoy snacks delivered right to your window.
Top Team Fun Games Day
Ages 5-14 onlyWe will be going to the Top Team Fun Games Day based at the Pukekohe High School joining in with our fellow CLM Holiday Programmes! Kids will be able to enjoy sack races, three-legged race, egg & spoon, hula hoop challenge, relay race, obstacle course, skipping races, water sponge relay, hoop run and gumboot throw. A great day to have fun and make new friends. Be sure to pack a big drink bottle
Lego Building Extravaganza
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's get building! Time to get creative with Lego, we will be setting you challenges to build particular things within a time limit. Do the challenges and win some prizes!
Ninja Valley
Ages 5-14 onlyBring your ninja skills for a fun filled action packed day at Ninja Valley in Hamilton! With activities for all ages and abilities, this will be a popular trip and will book out fast. Secure your spot now!
Waiuku Whiteside Pool Picnic
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off to Waiuku Whiteside Pools to enjoy the cool water, sunshine and have a picnic on the grass. A great way to spend a summer's day. Don't forget your togs and towel.
Chill Out Colour Run & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyBring a plain white T-shirt and run through our obstacle course of colourfulness! Colour Runs are one of the kid's favourite activities to do. Don't forget your togs & towel as we will be swimming!
Papakura Pool Party
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us at Massey Park Pool for a pool party! Games and music, the lazy river, aqua run and hydro slide. Who will win the bombing competition or the Aquarun Time Trial? Prizes up for grabs if you are the winner! Suitable for all ages.
Chelsea Sugar Factory Tour
Ages 5-14 onlyBring your sweet tooth along while we visit the home of everything sugar! Be educated and inspired with a fully immersive tour through the Chelsea Sugar factory, where you'll learn about how sugar is made, taste our delicious syrups and see the wondrous sugar mountain!
Movie on the Big Screen & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyPopcorn, ice creams and relax while watching the latest movie on the big screen. Don't forget your togs as we will be having an afternoon swim.
Hawaiian Splash

Parnell Baths
Ages 5-14 onlyLet's enjoy these beautiful saltwater pool in the sunshine! Parnell Baths is arguably the most iconic pool in all of New Zealand with treated saltwater that comes directly from our ocean. Aquarun will also be up too!
Art-ragious & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyAn exciting day of arts and crafts, making and creating. We will have a number of prjects for you to complete, bring your creative minds! Don't forget your togs & towel as we will be swimming!
Back to School Party & Splash
Ages 5-14 onlyCelebrating the end of the school holidays in style! Games and activities with a shared lunch. Don't forget your togs & towel as we will be swimming too!
