Welcome to the Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre School Holiday Programme
Be part of the exciting April School Holiday Programme at Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre Chill Out for your school-aged child. With a thrilling range of activities that includes an Team Building challenges, Massey Park Pool Day Rave Pool Party, Pop-Up Obstacle Course, Baking, trip to the cinemas and so much more. This school holiday programme has something for everyone.
At Franklin Chill Out our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids to come together, explore new activities, forge new relationships and, make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
The programme operates from 9am to 3pm and can be extended with Before Care (7:00am to 9am) and After Care (3pm to 6pm). Please note if your child is absent refunds are only given with 72 hours’ notice during the School Holidays. If your child is sick on the day full charge will apply. Fees must be paid in advance as per our Terms and Conditions on our website.
For the upcoming week, children must come prepared with a hat, a drink bottle, a large lunch and sunscreen. Additionally, they must bring their swimwear every day. Alternative activities will be offered for kids who do not swim.
We are MSD-approved, and WINZ subsidies are also available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. Applications are in high demand, with WINZ forms needing to be completed and a $40 deposit collected per child before a booking is confirmed.

Movies on the Big Screen
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are launching into our School Holiday Programme with a trip to the Pukekohe Cinema. The kids will be able to enjoy a popcorn and drink to go with the latest movie. Don't forget to pack your togs as we will have a swim in the afternoon.
Team Building Fun Day and Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyWe have a number of exciting challenges and competitions for our kids to get involved in! You will be participating in groups and also challenging the staff too. Lots of fun while also getting to know the other kids on the programme. We will also be swimming in the afternoon too.
Pop-Up Obstacle Course at Waitemata Park
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are going a trip to Waitemata Park to join the CLM Events Team for the Pop-Up Obstacle Course! You can expect plenty of excitement and fun while going through the course which has plenty of inflatables and objects to conquer! Bring your togs as we will also be going for a swim in the afternoon.
Easter Craft Day and Swim
Ages 5-14 onlyIt wouldn't be an Easter holiday without making crafts! Expect to design your own egg, creating decorations and artwork to complete. Plenty of fun while bringing out your creative side. To burn off that energy we will be going for a swim in the afternoon.
Masterchef
Ages 5-14 onlyWe will be cooking up a storm today! With plenty of ingredients to choose from, we be making a number of dishes for the kids to create. The best part - kids can then eat them! To burn off some of that energy will be going for a swim in the afternoon. don't forget your togs!
Massey Park Pool Day Rave
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are heading to CLM Massey Park Pool for the Day Rave programme! You can expect music, games and competitions, prizes, hydroslides, Lazy River and the Wave Pool! There will also be a sausage sizzle for the kids to enjoy for lunch.
Picnic and Orienteering Day
Ages 5-14 onlyTo end of the holidays we are headed to Schlaepfer Park to enjoy a picnic, group games and orienteering! Great way to spend the day outdoors and in nature. We will also be going for a swim in the afternoon, bring your togs!
