Come down to the Whangarei Aquatic Centre and enrol your children into our exciting Summer School Holiday Programme! These holidays are going to be an epic programme full of adventures, creativity, prizes and of course lots of swimming each day.
Chill Out offers a safe, stimulating and fun environment for your school aged child/children. Our staff are experienced and we are OSCAR and WINZ approved so you may be eligible for a payment subsidy.
The School Holiday Programme operates from 9am-3pm, with additonal Before Care available from 7am-9am and After Care from 3pm-6pm. We offer a wide range of interactive, age appropriate activities throughout the day to keep the children occupied and having fun.
Enrolments fill up fast so you need to get in quick and early to confirm your child's place on the programme. We also strongly encourage those parent/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment and your subsidy application being declined.
Please bring a packed lunch for the day, water bottle, shoes, and swim wear. We also have avalibility to purchase lunch from the cafe - just let the staff know and order on arrival.

Pancake Party and Swim!
Ages 5-14 onlyJoin us for a delicious pancake party followed by an exciting swim session! Start the day by flipping and decorating your own pancakes with a variety of tasty toppings, then dive into the pool for some splashing fun. Don't forget your togs!
Big Screen Adventure
Ages 5-14 onlyLights, camera, action! Join us for a thrilling day at the movies, where we'll watch the latest blockbuster on the big screen. Grab your popcorn, sit back and enjoy. Bring your togs as we will be cooling off in the pool afterwards.
Easter Eggstravaganza Hunt
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready for an egg-citing adventure! Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt, where you'll search high and low for hidden chocolate treasures. After the hunt, cool off with a splashtastic swim. Sweet treats, fun challenges, and plenty of laughter, it's the perfect way to celebrate Easter with your mates.
Lion Park Adventure
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready for a wild day out at the Lion Park! Come face-to-face with majestic lions as we explore their habitat up close. Learn fascinating facts, enjoy an exciting Safari experience, and see these amazing animals in action. It's the perfect adventure for animal lovers.
Easter Craft Creations
Ages 5-14 onlyGet creative this Easter with a fun-filled day of Arts and Crafts! From decorating eggs to making bunny themed masterpieces, we'll bring easter to life with colourful and exciting DIY projects. Join us for a day of creativity, laughter and festive fun - perfect for crafty kids who love to make and create. Bring your togs as we will have a relaxing swim in the afternoon.
Space Science Adventure
