April Holiday Programme 2025
Get ready for a fun-filled holiday at our Holiday Programme! With exciting activities and daily swimming, it's the perfect way for children aged 5-13 to stay active, social, and make fantastic memories!
Important Information
- Dates: April 2025
- Hours: 8am – 4pm (After Care available until 6:00 pm)
- Location: Waimea Intermediate School Hall - 48 Salisbury Road, Richmond 7020
- Pricing: Prices vary depending on the activities your child participates in. See the "Activities Tab" for details.
- Daily Swimming Fun: Included every day at Richmond Aqutic Centre.
- WINZ Subsidies: Eligible families can save up to 80% on programme fees. Check eligibility via the link provided.
Drop-off and Pick-up Times
- Drop-off: Between 8:00 am and 9:00 am (Ensure your child arrives by 9:00 am. If late, contact the programme coordinator.)
- Pick-up: Between 3:40 pm and 4:00 pm (unless enrolled in After Care).
After Care:
- Children will return to the Richmond Aquatic Centre by 4:15 pm. Please collect them from the Chill Out Room (back entrance off Salisbury Road).
What to Bring
- Sunhat: Wide-brim or bucket hat (clearly named, mandatory).
- Drink Bottle: Named (a $2 fee applies for a basic bottle if forgotten).
- Togs and Towel.
- Spare Clothing: Mandatory for children aged 7 and under.
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Shoes, socks, and a raincoat.
- Food: Morning tea and lunch.
- Sunblock: Optional (we will provide some if you prefer).
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid full charges.
- Late cancellations will incur full charges.
- Timely cancellations will result in a credit added to your account.
- Refund inquiries can be directed to the programme coordinator at richmondchillout@clmnz.co.nz
- Vacant spaces will be offered to waitlisted families.

Jumpin' & Splash Adventure
Ages 5-13 onlyA Chill Out Holiday Programme is not complete without a visit to Jumpin' Trampoline Park. You can spend the morning exploring the various areas, such as the main trampoline area, foam pit, tumble track, parkour section, and the impressive wall trampolines. After all that bouncing excitement, we will head to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for a swim and to ride the waves.
Movie Day Extravaganza - Dog Man
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for an exciting day out! We’ll kick things off with a fun movie at the Silky Otter, where we’ll catch a screening of Dog Man. Afterward, we’ll head over to the Richmond Aquatic Centre to cool off with a swim. Relax in comfy chairs while enjoying a medium popcorn and drink before diving into the water for some fun! Don’t miss out on this action-packed day!
Action Zone Indoor Playground
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we are off to the NEW Action Zone Indoor Playground at Action Centre! Climb, slide, and explore this exciting new play space. After burning off some energy, we’ll make a splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre! If the playground construction isn’t finished, we’ll swap it for bowling and mini golf!"
Teapot Valley Action
Ages 5-13 onlyGet Ready for a non-stop fun at Teapot Valley camp! We are in for an action packed adventure, from archery bullseye and the heart pounding excitement of the epic zip line. Team building and fun exploring do not miss out on the most unforgettable day of the holidays!
Timezone Takeover
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we’re heading to Timezone Nelson for an exciting morning of unlimited game time! Challenge the Chill Out staff and see who can come out on top in some friendly competition. After all the fun, it’s back to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for some swimming excitement!
Skate, Splash & Dash
Ages 5-13 onlyRoller Skating Nelson is the place you’ll find us today! We’ll spend the morning showing off our awesome skating skills or learning how to skate with the Chill Out staff. Choose between blades or skates—the option is yours! After our skating session, it’s time to relax in the waves at the Richmond Aquatic Centre!
High-Flying Fun at ProBounce
Ages 5-13 onlyFeel the rush of bouncing high in the air, performing gravity-defying flips! Pro Bounce is the playground that leads to another adventure. From daring leaps and friendly competition at the basketball hoops to the tumble track and airbag, there’s so much fun to be had! After all the bouncing, we’ll cool down at the Richmond Aquatic Centre.
