Welcome to the Lido School Holiday Programme
Be part of the exciting April School Holiday Programme at Lido Aquatic Centre Chill Out for your school-aged child. With a thrilling range of activities that includes an Movies, Dayrave, Manawatu Gym Sports, Bowling and so much more. This school holiday programme has something for everyone.
At Lido Chill Out our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in which kids to come together, explore new activities, forge new relationships and, make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
The programme operates from 9 am to 3 pm and can be extended with beforecare (6:30 am to 8:30am) and aftercare (3pm to 6pm) sessions. Please note if your child is absent refunds are only given with 72 hours’ notice during the School Holidays. If your child is sick on the day full charge will apply. Fees must be paid in advance as per our Terms and Conditions on our website.
For the upcoming week, children must come prepared with a hat, a drink bottle, a large lunch and sunscreen. Additionally, they must bring their swimwear every day. Alternative activities will be offered for kids who do not swim.
We are MSD-approved, and WINZ subsidies are also available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. Applications are in high demand, with WINZ forms needing to be completed and a $40 deposit collected per child before a booking is confirmed.

Swimming Carnival & Cloud 9
Ages 5-14 onlyDive into fun with swimming sports in our 25m pool, where you can challenge your friends and improve your skills. Then, bounce into the afternoon at Cloud 9 Trampoline Park for high-flying thrills and endless energy!
Movies
Ages 9-14 onlyJoin us to watch movie on the Big Screen along with a treat of popcorn and lemonade to help enjoy the movie. After lunch we'll enjoy a swim at Lido.
Wildbase Recovery Adventure Juniors
Ages 5-8 onlyTake a walk on the wild side at Wildbase Recovery, located at the beautiful Esplanade! This unique wildlife rehabilitation center offers a rare glimpse into the incredible work done to care for and release New Zealand’s native wildlife.
Day Rave
Ages 5-14 onlyGet ready for the ultimate poolside bash at the Day Rave Swimming All-Day Pool Party! Dive into non-stop fun with music pumping all day long, cool off in the pool, and enjoy exciting games with amazing prizes up for grabs! Easter Eggstravangza!
Ages 5-14 onlyHop into the spirit of Easter with a day packed full of fun activities for all ages! Get creative with Easter-themed arts and crafts, bake delicious treats to enjoy, and join in the excitement of an Easter egg hunt. There’s something for everyone at Lido Chill Out
Manawatu Gym Sports Juniors
Ages 5-8 onlyAt Manawatu Gym Sports, kids have the opportunity to explore a variety of gymnastics equipment & learn new skills under the guidance of experienced coaches. From trampolines & balance beams to bars & mats, there's something for everyone. Not only will kids have an absolute blast bouncing & tumbling around then spending the afternoon chilling at the Lido pools or getting creative with some arts
Bowlarama Seniors
Ages 9-14 onlyCan you bowl a strike? Test out your skills at Bowlarama! A popular activity with our kids. Then we’re swimming in the afternoon.
GameStarted
Ages 5-14 onlyGameStarted provides a wide range of entertainment services to guests of all ages. Lazertag games, fun parties, Lazermaze, Spider Tower, Adventure Game, Mirror Maze and more are guaranteed to make you smile.
Park Crawl
Ages 5-14 onlyToday were checking out the parks around the mighty Manawatu, How many can we get to in a day. Then back to Lido for a swim.
