Summer Holiday Programme 2024-2025
Get ready for a fun-filled summer with our Holiday Programme! Packed with exciting activities and daily swimming, it's perfect for children aged 5-13 to stay active and make great memories!

- Hours: 8am – 4pm (After Care available until 6pm)
Pricing
Prices vary depending on the daily activity, so you only pay for what your child participates in! You can view this under the "Activities Tab"
Daily Swimming Fun
Swimming is included every day to help keep kids cool and active. at both Richmond and Nayland Swimming Pools

Programme Details

Drop-off and Pick-up Times
Drop-off: Between 8:00 am and 9:00 am
- Please ensure your child arrives by 9:00 am so we can start on time.
- If you are running late, contact the programme coordinator.
Pick-up: Between 3:40 pm and 4:00 pm (unless enrolled in After Care).
- After Care: Children will return to the Richmond Aquatic Centre by 4:15 pm. Please collect them from the Chill Out Room (back entrance, off Salisbury Road).
What to Bring
- Sunhat: Wide-brim or bucket hat (clearly named, mandatory).
- Drink Bottle: Named (a $2 fee applies for a basic bottle if forgotten).
- Togs and Towel: Rash shirts are recommended for Nayland Pool days.
- Spare Clothing: Mandatory for children aged 7 and under.
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Shoes, socks, and a raincoat.
- Food: Morning tea and lunch.
- Sunblock: Optional if you prefer your own (we will have some available).
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to 8:00 am on the day of the booking to avoid full charges.
- Late cancellations will be charged in full.
- Timely cancellations will result in a credit added to your account.
- Refund inquiries can be directed to the programme coordinator at Macb@clmnz.co.nz.
Vacant spaces will be offered to waitlisted families.

Strike & Putt Day – Bowling and Mini Golf Adventure
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready to strike up some fun! Our morning is all about action as we head to Action Centre Richmond to test our skills in an epic game of Bowling and Mini Golf. How many hole-in-ones will you score? Then, in the afternoon, we'll ride the waves of the incredible wave pool to cool off and make a big splash
Mega Splash Bash – Conquer the Giant Slide!
Ages 5-13 onlyGet your sunscreen ready because today is all about soaking up the sun and embracing endless fun at the beach! its an action-packed morning as we slide down the Mega Slide and explore the fantastic beach playground. Feel the thrill of the wind in your hair as you coast down, and let your imagination run wild as you conquer the playground's delights. To cool down it is off to Richmond Pool!
Holiday Cookie Creations – Christmas Cookie Decorating
Ages 5-13 onlyToday is one not to be missed! Swimming and baking! We are having Fresh Bake drop us off some Christmas cookies! We will indulge in some fun-filled baking activities. Get ready to decorate some cookies! Then its time to swim off all our delicious delights.
Game On! – Timezone Takeover
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a day filled with excitement as we head to Nelson to spend our morning at Time Zone, where we'll enjoy an hour and a half of unlimited arcade games. Challenge the Chill Out Staff and see who can come out on top in some friendly competition. After all the fun and games, it's time to head back to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for some swimming fun. Don't miss out on this incredible day!
The Amazing Race + Nayland Swim
Ages 5-13 onlyGet set for an exhilarating adventure as we dive into the heart of Te Pa Harakeke to uncover its hidden treasures during the thrilling Amazing Race. Following a morning packed with high-energy challenges, we'll make a splash at Nayland Pool for an afternoon of pure swimming joy!
Saxton Sports Spectacular – Game Day Adventures
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a high-energy Saxton Sports Extravaganza! We'll spend the day at Saxton Sports, where kids can show off their skills in range of sports! It’s all about teamwork, fun, and friendly competition—then it’s off to the pool for a refreshing swim at the end of the day!
Seniors - Hydroslide Adventure Day
Ages 9-13 onlyGet ready to make a splash, seniors, because today is all about getting Wet n Wild! Our morning is set for a thrilling adventure down one of New Zealand's longest and fastest hydro-slides at Nelson Fun Park. And to cap off this wet and wild day, we'll catch some waves and unwind in the pools at the Nayland Park Pool. It's going to be a day to remember!
Juniors - Nature Explorers Day at Nature Land
Ages 5-8 onlyGet ready for an amazing day of adventure as we embark on an epic journey to Nature Land! Sharpen those eagle eyes because we'll be on the lookout for even the tiniest creatures. After a thrilling morning of exploration, we'll dive into some aquatic fun at the pool in the afternoon at Richmond Pool
Jumpin' Joy Day – Bouncing into Fun
Ages 5-13 onlyA Chill Out Holiday just isn't complete without a visit to Jumpin' Trampoline Park. You can spend the morning exploring the various areas, such as the main trampoline area, foam pit, tumble track, climbing wall, parkour section, and the impressive wall trampolines. After all the bouncing excitement, you can head over to the Richmond Aquatic Centre and ride the waves.
Miyazu Mystery Quest + Nayland Swim
Ages 5-13 onlyMake sure to put your hunting eyes on today as we going to be spending the morning hunting for the clues to find the treasure. Make sure to search and low to make sure your group is the first group to find the treasure! After the morning of hunting, it will be time to cool down in the pools of at Nayland Pool
Big Screen Bash – Movie Day Extravaganza Sonic 3
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for an exciting day out! We're heading to the Silky Otter to catch a showing of Sonic 3 followed by a swim at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. Relax in the comfortable chairs and enjoy a medium popcorn and drink Then, cool off with a refreshing swim at the aquatic centre. Don't miss out on this fun-filled day!
Bounce & Battle – Inflatable World Fun
Ages 5-13 onlyWhat would Chill Out Holidays be without a trip to Action Centre to explore the awesome Inflatable world? The morning will be spent bouncing, Climbing, and jumping around the giant inflatables! How fast can you make it around the course? The afternoon will be spent cooling down at the Richmond Aquatic Centre
Sand & Splash Spectacular
Ages 5-13 onlyGrab your sunhats and slap on some sunblock because we’re kicking off the day at Rabbit Island with a super fun sandcastle-building competition! Get ready to race against your friends to see who can create the most epic sandcastle masterpiece! After soaking up the sun, we’ll head back to the Richmond Aquatic Centre to cool off and unwind in the awesome pools.
Juniors - Splash & Dash – Hydroslide Challenge
Ages 5-8 onlyWe are getting Wet n Wild today! Our morning will be spent enjoying the awesome Hydro-slide that is one of New Zealand’s longest and fastest rides that Nelson Fun Park has to offer! To end off our wet and wild day we will be surfing the waves and relaxing in the pools of the Richmond Aquatic Centre.
Seniors - Laser Tag Takeover – Lights, Action, Compete!
Ages 9-13 onlyIt’s time to see who the sharpshooters are as we have a go at Laser Tag. We are heading down to Tahunanui Beach to check out Pro Combat Laser Tag. Then it’s back to Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon swim.
Seniors - Escape Quest: Xscape Rooms Adventure!
Ages 9-13 onlyGet ready for an unforgettable adventure! We're heading to the Xscape Room in Nelson for a morning of mystery and excitement. You and your team will work together to uncover hidden clues, solve puzzles, and race against the clock to escape the room. Can you make it out in time? After all the adrenaline-pumping fun, it's time to cool off with a refreshing swim. Don't miss out on this!
Junior Scientists Discovery Day
Ages 5-8 onlyJoin us for a fun-filled Junior Scientists Discovery Day! Our young explorers will dive into hands-on experiments and exciting activities that make science come to life. From fizzing reactions to cool inventions, there’s so much to discover—and we'll finish with a splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre!
Isel Park Adventure Quest + Nayland Swim
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we're embarking on a conquest of the Isel Park! Our morning will be a whirlwind adventure as we race through the breathtaking Isel Park, deciphering clues that will lead us to our next challenge, all against a backdrop of stunning views. After all the excitement, the afternoon promises pure relaxation as we unwind in the pool!

Raft Builders’ Rally – Water Challenge!
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we're diving into a full day of raft-building fun at the Richmond Aquatic Centre! Gather your team, grab your supplies, and build your raft to sail across the lane pool! After the big race, it's time to ride the waves. This is teamwork and adventure rolled into one
Bounce Zone – High-Flying Fun at Pro Bounce
Ages 5-13 onlyFeel the rush of bouncing high in the air, performing gravity-defying flips, and embracing a world of exciting challenges. ProBounce is the playground where every jump leads to another adventure. From daring leaps to friendly competitions, there's no end to the fun! But wait, there's more! After all that bouncing excitement, it's time to cool down in style.
Creative Canvas Day – Art Vine Painting Fun
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for an Under the Sea Art Adventure! We’ll start by diving into the world of colourful fish painting with Art Vine, where young artists can bring vibrant ocean scenes to life. Then, we’ll wrap up the day with a splash and some fun in the water at the Richmond Aquatic Centre!
LEGO Legends Day – Building Block Fun
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a morning of Lego magic with Katie from Bricks Included! The kids will dive into creative building fun, constructing their own masterpieces and letting their imaginations run wild. After our Lego adventures, we'll hit the pools for a refreshing afternoon swim! It's going to be a day full of creativity, building, and splashing around!
Builder’s Workshop – Mitre 10 Construction Adventure
Ages 5-13 onlyWe’re in for a crafty treat today as Murray from Mitre 10 joins us for a hands-on building workshop! The kids will get creative, constructing their very own projects with Murray's expert guidance. Once we've wrapped up our awesome creations, we'll head to the pools for a splash-tastic cool down! It’s going to be a day full of creativity, teamwork, and water-filled fun!
Jumpin’ Joy Day – High-Energy Trampoline Fun
Ages 5-13 onlyStart your day by bouncing around the park's awesome attractions – from the main trampoline area and foam pit to the climbing wall, tumble track, parkour section, and even the wall trampolines! Once you’ve had your fill of trampoline fun, head over to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for some wave-riding action
Bon Voyage Bash – End-of-Holiday Celebration
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we’re saying Bon Voyage to the Holiday Programme with an epic farewell celebration! We’ll kick things off by getting crafty with some fun travel-themed activities—design your own passport, create colourful world maps, and make awesome souvenirs to take home. we’ll cool off and make a big splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre Wave Pool
