Standard Pricing:

• After-School Care: $24.50 per day, per child
• 5 Days a Week: $24.00 per day

Programme Details:

• Time: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Includes:
  • Pick-ups from school
  • Afternoon tea
  • Variety of activities
  • Swimming in our wave pool

We are WINZ and OSCAR approved. Please read the information below to understand how to apply for the OSCAR subsidy:

WINZ and OSCAR Subsidy Information

1. Eligibility:

   • Check the WINZ website for OSCAR (Out of School Care) subsidies. You must meet certain criteria to apply. How to apply for Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) Subsidy | Check what you might get (msd.govt.nz) 
   • You must be working or studying to qualify for the subsidy.
   • The amount you receive depends on:
     • The number of children in your care
     • Your income
   • Note: WINZ may not cover the full cost of care.

2. Application Process:

   • Visit WINZ to collect the necessary forms for the OSCAR subsidy for term-time care (Before and After School Care).
   • Complete the forms and attach all required evidence.

3. OSCAR Subsidy Declaration:

   • The pack includes an OSCAR SUBSIDY DECLARATION form, which we need to complete. Ensure you have a booking in the Chill Out Kids system for us to fill out this form.

4. Form Submission:

   • Return all forms to WINZ for processing.
   • You will receive correspondence through your MyMSD account detailing the outcome of your application.

5. Additional Information:

   • If WINZ requires further details, submit them promptly to avoid delays.
   • Depending on the subsidy amount, you may need to make additional payments to cover the cost of care.

Payment Tips

• Consider making smaller weekly payments to manage costs. This can help cover any additional expenses not covered by the subsidy.
• You can choose not to book care every day to manage costs better.
• Smaller payments can be applied to your Chill Out account as funds for future programmes.
