Our April School Holiday Programme is HERE! Get ready it is going to be a great one at Richmond Chill Out!
We have an awesome line-up of activities these Holidays and there’s no programme more exciting in Richmond! Activities include: Flip Out , Laser Tag, Inflatable World, Movies, ProKarts, Caving, White Water Rafting and so much more. Book now to secure your place!
Here at Richmond Chill Out we have a focus on being a family. We are about kids trying new things, making new friends and taking them on experiences that will create memories for life!
Please check the activities for the week ahead. Kids must bring a hat, drink bottle, BIG LUNCH, sunscreen (if your child has an allergy, we do provide). It is essential that children have togs everyday. As we get to swim in the awesome Richmond Aquatic Centre pools everyday!
All children must be at Waimea Intermediate School Hall by 9am for roll call, we close at 4pm, with extra care till 6pm if required. Please note if child is Absent you need to give 72 hours notice for a refund. Absences on the day are CHARGED AT FULL PRICE.
We are MSD Approved and WINZ subsidies available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms. We also strongly encourage those parent/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic Flip Out
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are going to show off our flipping skills at Flip Out Nelson. This trampoline park has a main arena, kids arena, foam pit, tumble track, climbing wall, parkour area and wall trampolines! Then back to the pool for a swim!
Junior - Natureland Exploration
Ages 5-8 onlyMake sure you have your explorer hat on today as we are heading down to Natureland Wildlife Park. What animals will you be able to spot. Then it’s back to Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon swim.
Seniors – Laser Tag
Ages 9-14 onlyIt’s time to see who the sharpshooters are as we have a go at Laser Tag. We are heading down to Tahnanui Beach to check out Pro Combat Laser Tag. Then it’s back to Richmond Aquatic Centre for an afternoon swim.
Inflatable world Fun Day
Ages 5-14 onlyHow does heading down to Action Centre sound! We are going to run, bounce and jump around the awesome Inflatable World. Who will win as you race around the obstacle course. Then its time to cool off in the pools!
Movie Madness and Combo
Ages 5-14 onlyWhat are the school holidays without a trip to the State Cinemas Nelson? Even better watching a movie with your friends and a medium combo, what drink are you going to get?
Juniors - Action Gymnastics
Ages 5-8 onlyWe are spending the morning showing off our gymnastics’ skills. We will be heading down to Nelson gymnastics! They are going teach us how to Flip, Jump and Roll. After all of that gymnastics its time to cool down in the pools!
Seniors – Prokarts and Megaslide Mania
Ages 9-14 onlyPro Karts raceway is one of New Zealand's only outdoor tracks, just under 300 metres in length.. Who will be first? Then its off to the Megaslide for some sliding action! After all of that amazing time down at Tahunanui Beach it is back to pools!
Tasty Roller-skating
Ages 5-14 onlyThis is one you will not want to miss! We are off to the Nelson roller-skating rink to show off our awesome skating! What will you choose blades or skates the option is yours! then it is time for some tasty Fish n Chips. Then time for a swim!
White Water Rafting Adventure
Ages 10-14 onlyCome join us for a big adventure as we head to Murchison to meet up with Ultimate Descents New Zealand to have a go at white water rafting. This is going to be one of the best days of the holidays and a day not to be missed. (minimum 7 kids)
Movie Mainia and Combo
Ages 5-14 onlyAfter a busy few days we are heading down to State Cinemas Nelson! Today will be spent chilling out in the comfy movie chairs of the Nelson Cinema with a medium combo! Even better we get to watch a movie on the big screen! Then time for a swim!
Takaka Caving Adventure
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are heading over to explore the Ngarua Caves!! Discover the stunning Ngarua Caves with its extensive and breathtaking variety of stalagmites and stalactites, also featuring an excellent skeletal display of the extinct moa! Then time for a swim!
Flipping Friday at ProBounce
Ages 5-14 onlyPro Bounce is more like a trampoline world with something for everyone, Bounce Zone, Walking walls, Challenge walls, Airbag, Basketball hoops (Slamdunk), Dodgeball court, All new WipeOut! Then its time to cool down in the pools!
