Freyberg Summer Holidays 2019/2020
Our Summer Holiday Programme is here!!
We will be running a Holiday Programme aswell as Before/After School care during the last week of school 16th- 20th Dec as schools finishing this week at various times. Please book for what you need.
We will be closing for the Christmas and New Years break from Wednesday 25th Dec2019 and will re open January 6th 2020 at 6.30am.On Christmas Eve the Porgramme will close at 5PM instead of the normal time of 6pm.
We have a fantastic lineup of activties this summer. Activties include: Danniverke xmas cave, Berry Picking & Splash Centre, Wakeborading & Paddle Boarding ,Go karting, Raft making, Movies, Science an Discos, Amazing Race/Teasure hunts. with so many more awesome activites but will just name a few.
Please check the activities for the week ahead and check the time some trips leave, these do vary and we dont want your child to miss out. Kids must bring a hat, drink bottle, a big packed lunch enough for the whole day, sunscreen . It is essential that children has togs or change of clothes everyday.
We have roll call at 9am and ask that all children are at the centre by then, We are open from 6.30am an close at 6pm.
We are WINZ accredited and OSCAR approved we have WINZ subsidies available for families in our community – you could save up to 80% on your fees if not more! We encourage you to visit us at the Centre for us to fill in your forms.We also strongly encourage those parent/caregivers who are applying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment.
So enrol now to avoid missing out we book up fast.

Mystery Box Cooking
Ages 5-14 onlyCome ready with your aprons an thinking caps you will work in groups to make a 2 coarse meal using a box of mystery ingredients. will head over for a swim and then games/ crafts to finish off the day.
Levin Adventure Park + Fear Factor
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off spend the morning at Levin Adventure park before heading back to collect the rest of the kids from school. After Lunch will test your taste with some fear factor, swimming.
Cloud 9
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are of to spend the morning at Cloud 9 Trampoline Park, followed swimming an some fun team challenges an games.
Movies
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're off to check out the latest movie on the big screen, before heading baking to make some Christmas sweet treats, an swimming.
Danivirke Fantasy Cave+ Park
Ages 5-8 onlyWill heading over to Danivirke to check out one of the coolest Christmas Cave around, will have a play in the park an enjoy a walk before heading back to palmy for Christmas sweet baking. Leaving at 9.30am return 3pm
Bowling +Swimming + BBQ
Ages 5-14 onlyCan you get a strike!! or even a spare. We're off to tackle the 10 pins at the end of the Ally.
Christmas Xtravangers
Ages 5-14 onlyCome join us for everything Christmas, we will have games, baking and crafts, aswell as swimming for the last time this year.
Xmas Party
Ages 5-14 onlyWe are celebrating a day early, We will have a Christmas movie and games, We will then sit down an enjoy a nice Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CLOSING AT 5PM (not 6pm)
Cloud 9 + Biscuit Decorating
Ages 5-8 onlyTo day we are of to spend the morning at Cloud 9 Trampoline Park before heading back to decorate biscuit and cool off with a swim.
Cloud 9 + Burger Making
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're off to spend some time at Cloud 9 Trampoline Park. Before cooling off with a swim an making burgers.
Gymnastics
Ages 5-8 onlyTime to tumble roll an cartwheel away the morning as we head off to learn some new skills at gymnastics. Will then head back for a swim and crafts
Outdoor Lazer Tag
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're off Whanganui to play Outdoor Lazertag this is always a hit with the kids, will then head to the pool to cool off. please make sure you have covered shoes, drink bottle,and togs. Leaving at 9am return 4pm
Bike to Ashhurst + Picnic Lunch
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're going to hop on our bikes an head along the river out to Ashhurst. Once there we will enjoy some time playing at the park an river. Will will provide lunch this day. Please bring own bike an helmet an must wear covered shoes.
Wheels Day
Ages 5-8 onlyBring your wheels (bikes, scooters, skates/blades). we will have coarse's set up as well as some time is decorate your wheels who will best dressed wheels. Will then head for a swim an enjoy making our own subs
Berry Picking + Splash Centre
Ages 5-8 onlyWho like strawberrys?? We're off to Windermere Strawberry Farm to pick our own berries an a tour of the farm. Will head off to the Splash Centre for a swim. leaving at 9am returning 4pm
Movies + Wearable Art
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're off to the Movies to check out what's on the big screen before heading back to spend the afternoon design an making costumes out of reusable house hold items. swimming is also on the cards.
Enviro Day
Ages 5-8 onlyToday is all about the environment. we plant plants, make things out of reusable items search for insects an more.
Amazing Race
Ages 9-14 onlySolve the clues unscramble the riddles an bet the the clock can your team be the 1st to the finish line. We then call into the Lido for a swim.
Science + Dance
Ages 5-8 onlyIts a morning of fun an exciting science experiments, We're then going to learn some folk dancing an have a swim
Limestone Creek Walk + Lido
Ages 9-14 onlyWe are off to Check out Limestone Creek in Apiti, here you will head along the paths an down to the caves where you will be able to see the glow worms. We then head back to the lido for a swim. leaving at 9am return 3pm.
Fitness & Makino
Ages 9-14 onlyToday we are off to meet Matt (an old Chill Out worker) who is going to take us through some fun fitness before heading for a swim at the Makino to cool off. please have active wear an covered shoes..
Movies + Treasure Hunt
Ages 5-8 onlyWe are off to check out the latest movie on the big screen, Will then back head back for lunch before we set off to find the hidden treasure.
Carnival Day
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we will be joined by the Lido Chillout aswell as our Programme that runs from Masterton. we will have a day fill of fun activities.
Messy Science +Raft Building
Ages 9-14 onlyLets get messy with science. Food Science, Slime Making and More. Followed By raft building, can your raft last the distance?
Toy Circus + Levin Pool
Ages 5-8 onlyCome along see all the awesome toys at the circus, have a go on the scooter ramp and fly into the foam pit. We will then head to Levin pool for a swim. Leaving at 9am returning 4pm.
Disco
Ages 5-8 onlyCome along and Dance! Do you have the best dance moves? Today will included dancing games and prizes. Bring your togs for swimming in the afternoon
Whanganui Riverland
Ages 9-14 onlyWere hitting Riverland Family Park. Mini putt, Mini cars, Mini bungy, and Big time Go Karts! Then hitting Kowhai Park for lunch an d a play. Leaving at 9am returning at 3.30pm.

Ages 5-8 onlyCan you beat the challenge wall? Show us your trampoline skills today at Flip City. Then we will make some sock puppets and make our own puppet show.

Skateboarding
Ages 9-14 onlyCome along and learn some new skateboarding techniques that you can show off to your friends. Followed by swimming in the afternoon.
School for horses + Makino
Ages 5-8 onlyToday we are going to check out the horses. We will Ride, Lead and Brush them. PLEASE BRING COVERED SHOES AND A SUNHAT. We will then head off to Makino Pool to cool off.
Summer Fun Party
Ages 5-8 onlyWater slides, Water Balloons, Water games and more! Bring your togs or a change of clothes.
Off the Loop- Wakeboarding Park
Ages 9-14 onlyToday we are off to Foxton to enjoy water activities including Biscuiting, paddle boarding and a new aqua play. Please bring your togs and a towel. Plenty to eat and drink. We will leave at 9am returning at 3pm.
Ashhurst Domain + River + Picnic Lunch
Ages 5-8 onlyCome for some fun at Ashhurst Domain. Games on the field, a walk to the river to skim some stones and a picnic lunch under the trees.
Day Rave
Ages 9-14 onlyDay Rave is back! This time its Water War of epic proportions. Inflatables, indoor slides, dances offs, prizes , Aqua Zumba and so much more! Pack your Water Gun.
Colour + Foam Party
Ages 5-14 onlyCome join in us for of bright colours an foam. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES THAT YOU DON'T MIND GETTING WET AN DIRTY
Bubble Ball + Baking
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are going to have some fun bouncing around inside a bubble ball. We will bake some delicious treats. Followed by swimming in the afternoon.
Back to the 80's Game Day
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are going back to the 80's to play some games such as elastics, hopscotch and gutter ball. Followed by swimming in the afternoon.
Chill Out Day
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are going to chill out before we go back to school. Movies, Games and swimming.
Park+ Walk & Lunch
Ages 5-14 onlyToday we are off to a couple of Playgrounds and a Walk. Bring comfortable shoes to walk in and plenty of water. Lunch will be provided this day.
