Freyberg Community Pool Summer Holiday Programme 2018-2019
17th-24th December 2018 then 3rd- 25th January 2019
Join us at Freyberg Community Pool Chill Out for our exciting upcoming School Holiday Programme. The five weeks will include trips including Wellington Zoo, LaserTag, Paddleboarding & Kaykaying, Movies and more as well as some in house days including Parties, Scavenger Hunts, Crafts, Cooking and more......
Chill Out offers a safe, stimulating and fun enviroment for your school aged child/children. We offer a wide range of interactive, age appropriate activities throughout the day to keep the children occupied and having fun.
The School Holiday Programme operates from 6.45am- 6pm with roll call at 9am.
We are MSD approved and WINZ subsidies are available for families in our community- you could save up 80% on your fees.
Enrolments fill up fast so you need to get in quick and early to confirm your child/childrens place on the programme. We also stronly encourage those parents/caregivers who are appying for WINZ subsidies to start this process early to avoid disappointment and your subsidy application being declined. Please allow at least a 24hr turn around for subsidy forms to be completed
Please bring enough food for Morning & Afternoon Tea + lunch for the day, Water Bottle, Shoes, Togs &Towel, Sunhat .
Our Programme is based out of the Redsox Club rooms just a stone throw from the Pool.

Team Building
Ages 5-14 onlyToday will be filled with fun an exciting challenges for all, followed by a Swim and some Baking.
Esplanade & Lido
Ages 5-14 onlyLets down and explore the playground and adventure through the bush walk @ the Esplanade before heading to the lido for swim.
Xmas Cave & Santa Slam Day Rave
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off to to check out the Santa Cave, Before heading down to the Lido to Join in the Santa Slam Day Rave. Please make sure you have your togs.
Bowling & BBQ
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off to Bowlarama to see how many pins can you knock down? Building up an apitaite will head back to Redsox for a BBQ lunch and games aswell as the gaint Water Slide, (please remember your socks for bowling and togs & towel )
Movies & Park
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off to check out the latest Movies on the big screen, will provide the snacks. With all that sitting around we will head to the park for lunch and a run around. Please note we are pleaveing at 9am returing at 3pm
Xmas Party
Ages 5-14 onlyTime to celebrate...... A day early but thats ok, we will have games, crafts and even a sit down mini Christmas lunch.
Summer Fun Party
Ages 5-14 onlyLets celebrate the New Year with a fun filled day of food games, crafts and the Gaint Water Slide.
Movies
Ages 5-14 onlyWe're off to catch the latest movie on the big screen, will provide the snacks, after all that sitting around wil head back to Redsox for games & swimming. Please note we are leaving at 9am
Youth Space & Pizza Making
Ages 9-14 onlyYouth Space is a great place for the kids to relax and unwind while discovering all the great thing on offer like music, chess, table tennis & more. We're then head back to redsox and create some pizza, with swimming on ffer aswell
Cloud 9
Ages 5-8 onlyBefore we head off and enjoying jumping, flipping and trying to conquer the rock wall at Cloud 9 we will be baking and decorating Cupcakes.
Back to Nature
Ages 5-8 onlyLets head into the great outdoors & explore whats out there, will go on a nature walk, build huts, crafts and a few games, please bring togs as we will also be swimming.
Wellington Zoo (seniors)
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're off to Wellington to spend the day hanging out with all the cool animals at the Zoo!!! Leaving at 8.15am returning 4.30pm please make sure to a plenty of food to cover you for the whole day aswell as a sunhat, drink bottle.
Gymnastics
Ages 5-8 onlyBack due to popular demand... Time to roll, tumble and learn some so new moves for a awesome girls down at Gymsports. please make sure you a drink bottle
Cloud 9 ( seniors)
Ages 9-14 onlyBefore heading down to Cloud 9 to enjoy all that is on offer, Will hop in the kitchen to bake and decorate cupcakes & brownies.
Pamly Power House
Ages 9-14 onlyTime to show us what you got.. Bring your drink bottle and a good sprit as our trainers are going to put you through some paces. Please bring togs as we will be swimming after.
Lazer Tag, Bowling, Pizza Lunch
Ages 5-8 onlyAction Packed we going to start the day off with Lazer Tag & Maze followed by a Pizza Lunch and park play before heading to see how many pin you can knock down at Bowling. Leaving at 9.30am retuning 3.30pm please remember your socks.
Carnival Day
Ages 5-14 onlyCome and join us for a fun dayof inflatables, games, challenges, face painting and more, make sure you have your togs as we have the water slide out.
Inflatable World (juniors)
Ages 5-8 onlyLets go burn off energy as we enjoy a morning full of inflatables, Please make sure you have socks and togs as well be swimming after.

Wheels Day
Ages 5-8 onlyBring your bikes(helments) scooters, roller blades/skates we're having a wheels day where will enjoy he day playing differnt games, challenges, tricks aswell as some free time. followed by Swimming and Crafts.
Outdoor Lazer Tag & Pool
Ages 9-14 onlyNo bright lights here.. this Lazertag is played in the forest, to cool off after all that running around wil head to the Splash Centre for a swim. Please make sure you have covered shoes, Drink bottle plenty to eat and your togs. leaving 9am- 4pm
Amazing Race & Lido
Ages 9-14 onlySlove the clues an riddles completes all the tasks as you make your way to the finishing line..who wil cross the finish line 1st!!!!!
Giant Scavenger Hunt
Ages 5-8 onlyCan you slove the riddles, clues and find all the hidden objects in our Scavenger Hunt?? Please bring togs as we will be swimming in the afternoon.

Master Chef & Technolgy
Ages 9-14 onlyTIme to bust out the aprons turn up the ovens as you prepare a 3 coarse meal for the judges,with full bellies and the only time during the Holidays you can spend some time on your devices. swimming will also be in the cards
Summer Park Crawl
Ages 5-8 onlyTime to check out some of the locals parks an see what they have to offer, will enjoy some Fish & Chips for lunch, aswell as swimming
Flip City
Ages 9-14 onlyWe're heading to Flip City to jump, flip and conquer the the challenge wall. Before heading to the feilding for a play at Swim at the Makino pool.
Manley Lodge & Makino Pool
Ages 5-8 onlyWe;re off to check out some farm animals, pat and brush some ponies as well as have a ride on them. (covered shoes are a must) we'll then head for swim at the Makino. leaving 9.30am return 3pm togs, plenty to eat, drink bottle & sunghat are a must.
SkateBoard School
Ages 9-14 onlyEver wanted to learn how to skateboard well today is your chance, all skateboards & saftey gear is provided. (must have covered shoes)
Ashhurst Domanin & Picnic Lunch
Ages 5-8 onlyWe're heading out to spend the day at the Ashhurst Domain, will enjoy a play on the playground, a bush walk, Sports & Games aswell as a picnic lunch ( will provide food) Kids will need drink bottle sunhat. Leaving 9.30am returning 3pm
Bubble Ball
Ages 9-14 onlyTime to hope inside a big inflatable balland have some fun running, flipping, rolling and playing soccer in them.
Wind Warriors
Ages 9-14 onlyToday is going to be action packed as we head down to Foxton to spend the day Paddling Boarding, Kaykaying, Wake boarding, ski biscuiting, an more. Leaving at 9.15am returning 3.30pm. plenty to eat a, drink bottle , sunhat and togs are a must.
Junior Detectives
Ages 5-8 onlyCome in today with your thinking caps on and see if you slove the clues and work out who comited the crime and who did it.
Back to School Party
Ages 5-14 onlyToday will be fill of games, crafts, food, challenges, swiming, water slide, all to celebrate heading back to school.
