Richmond Chill Out's April Holiday Programme: Unleash the Adventure!

Make a Splash at the Richmond Aquatic Centre! Our programme ensures daily dips in the fantastic Richmond Aquatic Centre pools, so don't forget your swim gear! Plus, we've got your back with extended hours until 6pm for those who need a little extra care.

Important Information for Parents and Caregivers is emailed to parents a week before the programme begins! It covers drop-off and pick-up times, what to pack and contact information, and all the programme details. Remember, roll call is at 9 am at Waimea Intermediate School Hall, and we close at 4 pm. Extended care is available until 6 pm if needed. Please anticipate possible schedule changes due to weather. Notify us 72 hours in advance for a refund in case of your child's absence. Absences on the day are charged at the full rate.
Be Prepared for Anything! Weather can be unpredictable, so make sure your child is ready with appropriate clothing, rain gear, and essentials like sunblock and a sunhat. We've got action-packed days ahead!
WINZ Subsidies Available We're MSD Approved, and families in our community can save up to 80% on fees through WINZ subsidies. Drop by the Centre for assistance with forms. Plan ahead to make the most of this opportunity.

Richmond Chill Out - Where Every Moment is an Adventure!
Important Information:
Programme Location: The programme is based at Waimea Intermediate School Hall, located at 48 Salisbury Road, Richmond 7020.
Drop-off and Pick-up Times:
- Drop-off: Between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. Please ensure your child is here by 9 am to maintain our schedule.
- Pick-up: Between 3:40 pm and 4:00 pm (unless enrolled in After Care).
- After Care children will return to the Richmond Aquatic Centre at 4:15 pm. Collection for After Care will be from the Chill Out room at the Richmond Aquatic Centre, accessible via the back of the building off Salisbury Road.
Health Guidelines: We require both children and staff to stay home if they display cold and flu symptoms. Any individual showing symptoms during the day will be sent home.
What to Bring: Please ensure your child/children have the following items each day:
- Togs and towel
- Spare change of clothing (mandatory for children aged 7 and under)
- Appropriate clothing, shoes, and socks for daily activities
- Sufficient morning tea and lunch
- Raincoat on wet days
- Drink bottle
- Sunhat
- Sunblock
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to 8 am on the day of the booking; otherwise, full fees will apply. If canceled on time, the cost of the day will be added as account credit. For refund inquiries, please contact the programme coordinator at Macb@clmnz.co.nz. Vacant spaces will be offered to waitlisted individuals.

ProBounce Adventure Park: Where Gravity Takes a Break!
Ages 5-13 onlyFeel the rush of bouncing high in the air, performing gravity-defying flips, and embracing a world of exciting challenges. ProBounce is the playground where every jump leads to another adventure. From daring leaps to friendly competitions, there's no end to the fun! But wait, there's more! After all that bouncing excitement, it's time to cool down in style.
Daytime Flick at Silky Otter
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for an exciting day out! We're heading to the Silky Otter to catch a movie, complete with a medium popcorn and drink, in their comfortable chairs. Then, we'll cool off with a refreshing swim at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. Don't miss out on this fun-filled day!
Wild Wednesday Leap Fun at Jumpin
Ages 5-13 onlyA Chill Out Holiday just isn't complete without a visit to Jumpin' Trampoline Park. You can spend the morning exploring the various areas, such as the main trampoline area, foam pit, tumble track, climbing wall, parkour section, and the impressive wall trampolines. After all the bouncing excitement, you can head over to the Richmond Aquatic Centre and ride the waves.
Thrilling Thursday Roll-Out
Ages 5-13 onlyThis is one you will not want to miss! We are off to the Nelson roller-skating rink to show off our awesome skating skills! Choose between blades or skates – the option is yours! After skating, it's time for a swim!
Creative Splash Friday
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a Fun Friday like no other! Kick off the day with an arts and crafts session where your creativity will shine. Dive into the delightful world of creativity. Then, cap off the day with a splash at our pool party! It's the perfect blend of creativity, treats, and cool waves. Don't miss out on this day!
Timezone Takeover: Ultimate Gaming Adventure!
Ages 5-13 onlyGet ready for a day filled with excitement as we head to Nelson to spend our morning at Time Zone, where we'll enjoy an hour and a half of unlimited arcade games. Challenge the Chill Out Staff and see who can come out on top in some friendly competition. After all the fun and games, it's time to head back to the Richmond Aquatic Centre for some swimming fun. Don't miss out on this incredible day!
Extraordinary Treasure Hunt
Ages 5-13 onlyToday, we're embarking on an extraordinary Treasure Hunt in the captivating Ben Cooper Park! Prepare for an exhilarating challenge as teams race to uncover all the hidden tokens and vie for the ultimate treasure. After our quest, we'll dive into an afternoon of pure aquatic delight at the Richmond Aquatic Centre. It's a day of adventure, exploration, and refreshing fun that you won't want to miss!

Seniors' - Prokarts Action
Ages 9-13 onlyGet ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure at Pro Karts Raceway! We're zooming over to one of New Zealand's premier outdoor tracks, boasting nearly 300 meters of high-speed thrills. Feel the rush as you navigate twists and turns, competing for the top spot on the podium. After we've satisfied our need for speed, we'll chill out with a refreshing dip in the pools. It's the perfect mix!
Megaslide Mania: Slip, Slide, and Smile!
Ages 5-13 onlyGet your sunscreen ready because today is all about soaking up the sun and embracing endless fun at the beach! It's an action-packed morning as we slide down the Mega Slide and explore the fantastic beach playground. Feel the thrill of the wind in your hair as you coast down, and let your imagination run wild as you conquer the playground's delights. To cool down, it's off to the pools!
